Hello everyone! Sorry for disappearing on you all.
I have been lurking here, visiting every few months. Every "happy birthday" and every "hey how are you?"  has been appreciated. Sorry I haven't replied to them all.

I do miss some of the friends I've made here, and am considering slowly coming back, but I can't say for sure. I have a lot going on and just keeping up with tumblr can be a Lot.

Since I've been here last I've:
-Graduated from High School (which I mistranslated as college for years, sorry!)
-Worked for a couple years to save up money for college
-Gotten into an Art College
-Moved to Canada to go to said Art College

And that covers the rough strokes, really.
If you want to see some more of my art, I mainly post it on tumblr over here, or I sometimes post to my instagram (which is relatively new) over here

And uh... unfortunately that's all I have to say, really.

What happened to 2012? We just don't know.
What we DO know is that I didn't post a lot of art in 2012. I kinda got in a slump where I didn't do much art outside of school, and if there was any it was just doodling in sketchbooks and not anything post-worthy.
Yet, in my absence, I've managed to gain 30+ watchers?! Wow, thanks! That's really cool! I hope you will continue to like my stuff wow...

You can probably still find me over on tumblr more often than you'll find me on here, but here's hoping that 2013 will be more artistically productive than 2012.

I'd like to apologize yet again for my absence from deviantART. School, travel and tumblr have made me a less-than-frequent visitor over here. So the following will be a hopefully short and concise journal with updates concerning my art and other things.

POINT ONE: ART
This is the most important part of this journal, as I'm sure there are some people that have been waiting for art from me since last year! There are many reasons for my lateness, and they are as follows:
    I promised art back when my previous semester of school was ending.
         I thought I had time to finish this art during my winter break! Boy was I wrong.
    Christmas break. First week I tumbl.
    I have to clean my room and pack to go to Swiss for Xmas! To meet my family and newborn baby sister.
    No time during Xmas break to draw, why did I even bring my tablet?
    Now I'm home from break! Ohgod I'm sick for a week.
    Shit, school starts soon, don't have time.
    School has begun, don't have time quite yet!
    TABLET PEN BREAKS. GREAT. JUST GREAT. FLIPPIN FANTASTIC.

Then I tried fixing my pen, didn't work properly so I had to order a new pen online (cost too much in retail here in Iceland).
It's arrived now so next weekend I can carry on with my art to-do list, yay!

POINT TWO: SCHOOL
I'm taking animation this year and it's AWESOME. Thinking about uploading my projects to Youtube, would you be interested in seeing anything?

In other news, I went to the yearly Glamour Ball and I was fabulous. My mum did my make-up (how do you eyeliner??) and I've never thought I looked so awesome. The ball was okay until the dancing part. People don't like to dance for some reason in my school, and the ball was really expensive so only one friend went with me. Ah well, we had some fun there.

Before the ball there were "Shoeprotection days" (direct translation ftw) basically where you choose some random things from a list to take instead of your normal classes. Like bowling, going to movies, or studying in the library.
There was a lot of screwups so I was actually signed on for five things when I was only supposed to be signed for three? Anyways, the main thing is this: Dungeons and Dragons. They had a frickin' Dungeons and Dragons class.
I've been curious as to how that all works exactly so OF COURSE I signed up and had HEAPS of fun.
I was a halfling cleric (hobbit healer) and we fought a goblin, seven zombies and a necromancer. Fun times. I'd totally do that again.

POINT THREE: PERSONAL STUFF
New little sister last December if I forgot to mention! Eeeee!
Can't think of anything else at the moment, but as always go check on my Twitter for the most relevant updates, and my Tumblr for sporadic, infrequent updates... like here!

Long time no see :I
Sorry bout that, no explanation but school busy-ness and lots of stress.
The only drawing I've been doing is doodles in my schoolbooks and colouring linearts off of dA.
Oh and "Hope", really pleased with that and the title, like REALLY pleased. I was not expecting it to turn out as well as it did. I keep surprising myself with how good I am at drawing, I UNDERESTIMATE MYSELF SO MUCH.
I have a drawing to-do list over the holidays, so expect more stuff. Also some half-finished stuff I might finish over the holidays too.

Anyways, you've probably noticed that since school started up I haven't uploaded much, but that's mostly because I haven't been drawing much. I'm just too busy D:
I should scan some sketches and upload them. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.
